Fairchild House

This publication with thirty photographs and text pieces of and about residents in Fairchild House, is a record of my immediate neighbourhood in 2011, a building block of 30 flats in Fairchild House on Frampton Park Estate, Hackney in East London. Each flat is represented by a portrait photograph or description of its resident/s. The words were taken from conversations with my neighbours and give a shared account of the neighbourhood. Together, the photographs and texts explore how we relate and connect to each other within the smallest unit of community - a shared home and building.
